Warm-up: tone focusing in each voice part, intonation with descending/ascending 3-part chords. D-R-D solfeg exercise. Steady beat is still a challenge with this exercise.
4:55-5:30
Polar Express. First major three sections and 'incidentals" ran voice parts, practiced entrances and accompaniments, then memory on each passage. Ran section 4 and incidentals--vc pts only.
5:30-5:40
Nativity Carol--voice parts count-singing. Cleaned up part work struggles in each section--alto section A, sop 2 section B, sop 1 section D
